Tenants
A tenant is a separate customer organization with its own users, endpoints, and license. Use this page to create and manage tenants in a multi-tenant deployment.
Tenants appear only when your edition supports multi-tenancy and you're signed in to the default (provider) tenant. If you manage a single organization, you can skip this page.
How to get here
You reach this page through Settings, so you need administrator (settings) permission. If you don't see the Settings icon, ask your administrator for access.
- Sign in to EndpointOps.
- In the top-right of any screen, click the Settings (gear ⚙️) icon.
- The Settings screen opens with its own menu down the left side. Click User Management (the first group) to expand it.
- Click Tenants.
Navigate to: Settings → User Management → Tenants
URL path: /settings/user-management/tenants (for example,
https://your-endpointops-site/settings/user-management/tenants).
The Tenants screen

Columns: Tenant ID, Customer Name, Email, License Plan, Endpoint Limit, License Expiry, Status, Created On.
Each row has a suspend/activate action, edit (✏️), and delete (🗑️). The Status badge shows ACTIVE (green) or the suspended state (amber). The list isn't paginated- all tenants are shown at once.
The built-in default (provider) tenant can only be edited- it has no suspend or delete action.
The toolbar
Above every list sits the same toolbar:

- Create- add a new item.
- Import- bulk-import items from a file (only on screens that support it, such as Users).
- Refresh- reload the latest data.
- Export- download the current list.
- Columns- choose which columns to show (covered under "Choosing which columns to show" lower on this page).
Working with the list
Every list in EndpointOps behaves the same way, so these controls work here too:
- Search- type in the Search… box above the table to filter the rows as you type.
- Sort- click the arrows in a column header to sort by that column, ascending or descending.
- View details- click a row's link in the first column (its name or ID) to open a read-only view of that record.
- Edit / delete- use the edit (✏️) and delete (🗑️) icons at the end of a row. Built-in/default records show no delete icon.
- Pagination- when a list runs to more than one page, use the page controls at the bottom-right, and the / page selector to change how many rows show at once.
- Permissions- you only see Create, edit, and delete if your role grants the matching permission. Without those permissions the screen is read-only.
When you save a new or edited record, a success message appears, the panel closes, and the list refreshes. Required fields are marked with a red asterisk; if you miss one, an inline error shows when you try to save.
How do I create a tenant?
-
Click Create. The Create Tenant panel opens.

-
Fill in the fields (red asterisk = required):
Field Required Notes Tenant ID Yes Short identifier, e.g. acme. Set once- you can't change it after the tenant is created.Customer Name Yes The organization's name. Email Yes Primary contact email. Set at creation- can't be changed afterward. Mobile Yes Primary contact number. Password Yes For the tenant's initial admin login. Shown only when creating a new tenant. Location Yes Tenant's location. PO Number / PO Date No Purchase-order reference. Invoice Number No Billing reference. Click Create. Use Reset to clear the form.
Both are set when you create the tenant and can't be changed afterward. Check them carefully before clicking Create.
How do I suspend or edit a tenant?
- Suspend: click the pause action on an active tenant and confirm. Its users can no longer sign in. The action then becomes activate (play).
- Activate: click the play action on a suspended tenant and confirm to bring it back.
- Edit: click the edit (✏️) icon to change license, limits, or contact details. Note that Tenant ID and Email can't be changed after creation.
- Switch tenant view: use the Client picker (Please Select Client) in the top header to view a specific tenant's data.
Choosing which columns to show
Click the Columns icon (far right of the toolbar) to open the column picker.
Tick a column to show it, untick to hide it, and drag the handle to reorder. Click Apply to save (your choice is remembered), Reset to restore the defaults, or Cancel to discard.
Tips & troubleshooting
- A tenant's users can't sign in. Check the tenant's Status isn't suspended and the License Expiry hasn't passed.
- Can't add more endpoints for a tenant. Raise the Endpoint Limit by editing the tenant.
